What is worth writing about
- A wrong number. If a pace, a split or a predicted time disagrees with your own arithmetic, tell us the distance, the time and what you expected. That kind of report is the most valuable thing you can send.
- A translation problem. German, Portuguese, French and Spanish pages are written by people, not by a translation engine — if a sentence reads oddly, or a term is wrong for your country, we want to know which page and which sentence.
- A source or a formula. If we have cited a source wrongly, used an outdated edition, or missed a limitation of a formula, send the reference and we will correct the page — and, when the correction changes a number, say so on the page that shows it.
- Anything unusable. A page that does not load, a link that 404s, a form that does not submit. A screenshot helps but is not required.
- Press, licensing, or reuse. Quoting a chart or a table is fine with a link back; for anything else, ask.
What we cannot answer
This site does the arithmetic and cites the sources; it does not answer individual training, medical or nutritional questions. In particular we cannot:
- tell you what you should run, or whether a goal is achievable for you;
- interpret heart rate, VO2max or any other physiological measurement — the site deliberately does not calculate them (see methodology);
- comment on injuries, medication or diet;
- give you a personalised plan.
Those questions are not brushed aside out of laziness: answering them well needs someone who knows your history and holds the relevant qualification, and a website reply is the wrong shape for it.
What to expect
- No account, no ticket number. Your email lands in one mailbox; there is no queue to look up.
- Replies are best-effort. This is a small site; substantive corrections are handled first, and everything else when there is time.
- Corrections with a source go first. "The 5K row says 4:00 but 1200 ÷ 5 is 240 s" gets fixed the same day; "this feels wrong" needs a longer conversation.
Data
Writing to us means we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. That is stored in the mailbox and nowhere else, and it is not added to any list — see privacy for what the server itself records.
